Gomberg to Present Platform Plank on Poverty and Homelessness.
On Thursday, October 1, 1998 at 12 noon in front of the Bissell Centre at 10527 96 Street, mayoralty candidate Tooker Gomberg will unveil his campaign’s platform plank on Poverty and Homelessness.
“Over the past few weeks I have met with numerous groups working hard with the impoverished and homeless. As well, I spent Tuesday morning on the street in Boyle/McCauley talking with people and seeing what’s going on. There is a crisis of poverty in Edmonton. As mayor I would take dramatic steps to address the scourge of poverty in our midst,” says Gomberg.
